With over 10 years experience, I have produced design solutions for a wide range of clients, from small businesses to large interactive agencies. This has given me extensive experience spanning all project stages starting from conception to completion.

My design philosophy: form follows function, don't be afraid of colour, people over 40 use the internet too, cookie cutters are good for making cookies only, and finally, content really is Queen (or King).

Working independently for the past few years has taught me the importance of listening and including clients in the process. If everyone is invested in the project, it is bound to be successful.

I entered the interactive space with a programming and visual arts background, which allows me to work collaboratively with both programmers and other designers on projects. I continue to seek out interesting approaches in engaging users, telling stories, and communicating information and ideas.

Although delivery of content and method of interaction is continually changing as new technologies emerge, the essential principles of graphic design, content engagement, information design, content structure, and clearly defined user and project objectives remains consistent. It is with that focus that a project can succeed, and it is with that focus that I approach all of my work.
